The existing pool deck was broom finished, cracked and delaminated. We first started on scarifying the pool deck and grinding around the coping 3/8" down so our overlay would finish flush to the top.

Next we started grinding out all of the cracks and cleaning them out so we could get a good bond for our crack repair. Once the cracks were filled, we started on laying out our borders and the dragonfly. The dragonfly was stained with Caribbean blue from Butterfield Color and touched up with acrylic paints and dyes. We used all Butterfield Color products from start to finish to complete this job.
